The challenge
Kicker & Quarter Media identified adaptive banners as a potential growth driver to increase In-App revenues, while maintaining a positive user experience. The user experience was top of mind and any optimizations required a careful approach.
The approach
Quarter Media established a very granular A/B test to evaluate adaptive banner vs. non-adaptive banner performance. The team used key-value pairs to review revenue uplifts and user impacts carefully. Following the test, adaptive banners performance impact led to a format roll out across key In-App inventories.
